Random question, if RLC and items with RLC value aren't allowed to be traded/bought/sold, then why are Amiibo cards traded/bought/sold? Since if you look online, they're sold on ebay/different websites for RLC. So... technically, shouldn't they be banned too? Especially since they're actual IRL items.

No one is selling Amiibo cards for TBT, they are just trading.
RLC items are allowed, they just don't want the more wealthy members to have an advantage at earning TBT, so anything that involves both RLC and TBT are banned. I think.

amiibo cards are traded card for card. There is no buying or selling involved. See our amiibo Card Post Office Rules & Information thread for more on this topic.

There should not be a conversion rate. Trading TBT for DA points is against the rules.

In future please just report them directly. I actually closed those threads; not the thread starters. You posting in them just made them more visible to me as it bumped them to the top of the Marketplace.

I would agree but the mods have no way of knowing who bought then or who got some without buying them

Yes. But most if not all ways in which they are obtained results from someone at some point spending money on them even if the person who is trying to sell them did not. They can also be bought directly on deviantArt using real cash, with 80 points valuing at approximately $1 (USD) / 85p (GBP), which means they have a real currency value and therefore cannot be traded for forum bells.
