Animal Crossing:New Leaf is my first ever Animal Crossing game. Before I bought it, I was actually on the fence...slightly leaning towards not getting it. It wasn't until I did a Google search of the villagers and saw Cookie that I decided to purchase the game. Why, you may ask? Firstly, she is a dog- which has been my favorite animal since BIRTH and has never changed. I was born in the year of the dog, and have always had neighbours who owned dogs that let me play with them. Unfortunately, I've never own a dog myself as the two times my mom and I tried to - the breeders didn't contact us back. The second reason why I wanted Cookie was simply because I fell in love with her appearance at first sight. SHE'S JUST SHO CUTE OMG I don't understand why people (coughcoughAdventuretimecreatorcough) hate her ):
After I bought New Leaf, I played casually and didn't know about forums or acquring villagers online. But coincidentally, Cookie was one of the first villagers to move in (apart from my originals)! I was ecstatic, and was determined to get her picture and be best friends with her. She was the one villager that I sent presents to every day (and talked to until she got tired of me...). I was her number 1 fan <3
Midterm week for me arrived a while later, as I am in my second year of university. I put away Animal Crossing for a few days to study and complete assignments, and when I returned I was horrified to see a letter from Cookie. "Today is the day! I'm leaving town. You were pretty fun to have around, you know, so I'm hoping my new neighbors are just like you! Hope I see you again sometime! From your idol, Cookie"... the last words I heard from my favorite villager. It's been five months and I still haven't seen her...I hope she is doing well whereever she is currently living...
"Hope I see you again sometime!"
I don't know how to cycle villagers, which means I don't know when I'll ever see her again. Despite not having cycled out 16 villagers, I still lurk Cookie auctions and trades even though I'm not able to get her back yet.

If she ever sees me again, I hope she'll be impressed with how I've changed --but still staying the Crystal that she knows. I hope she'll approve of my new, expanded house, and have fun shopping in the Emporium/GracieGracie (a huge contrast to the T&T Mart that she knew). I hope she'll reunite with her best friend, Skye, who is waiting for her return as well. I hope she'll come back and meet all the new villagers that have moved in, and make wonderful memories with them.
And finally, I hope that she'll come back and make Milk Tea brighter by being the little star that she is, spreading her joy and light to every corner of the town. <3 LUVYUUUCOOKIE!!
I immediately just wanted to cheer him up. When I talked to him and saw that his name was Marshal I immediately felt joy because I love marshmallows and some of my friends had nicknamed me Mari-mallow, and other things similar to that, as it's a sort of play on words. x) I just felt a connection with him because of that. :3 I looked for him on Reddit a little at first without much luck, and then I discovered TBT. My jaw dropped when I saw some of the auctions on this site for him. x_x Buyouts set at 30 mil to 40 mil?! Goodness... Since I just started the game about one month ago, and since I had worked my butt off for some of my other dreamies, it wouldn't be a responsible choice for me to spend that much, since I still need to accomplish other things in my game ^_^ Haha, I guess it shouldn't have been such a surprise that he was so expensive, anyway; in hindsight, it's no wonder that he'd be very popular, seeing how adorable he is. I just couldn't believe he'd be the MOST popular on TBT. @_@ Smug villagers, along with cranky ones, are among my favorite male personalities in this game, and I think he's by far the cutest of the squirrels. ^_^ Thanks for reading my entry.~ :3
