This is what I always do and it has never done me wrong so far. start a new day save and quit then tt forward a month, CREATE A NEW CHARACTER and see if anyone's house is gone. If they are gone then tt back a month and go to them. If they don't ping you just keep saving and quitting until they ping you. Sometimes you have to talk to them once first before they ping you because either you haven't seen them in a long time or some other reason. Hope I helped
