Yes, using the cards, when I scan in a new villager I am given a choice of who to put in boxes. But since I just scanned her in, I have to do 3 more scans before she appears on the list. I believe that is to account for her plot showing up, then her house with boxes, then she is available the next day

okay thank you! I wasn't sure if it was only if you were adopting from the RV. everyone kept telling me it wasn't just RV but I wanted to be sure. I can adopt her whenever!
