Cycling question

Couldn't find answer in guide. So I traded someone a villager who was in boxes. I continued the cycle and ended up with a new villager and no one in boxes. Should I have continued the cycle procedure? I was worried someone would move and I'd lose track completely. Instead I am TT'ing day by day until someone is in boxes again.

hmm, it seems like maybe somewhere along the way you may've either TT'd to the wrong date or didn't TT all three times, if you're using the foolproof method. I'd count your villagers and see if you're at 9, then TT day by day until you get a mover.

That must've happened. Thanks! I TT'd day by day til I got back on track. So even after trading Coco, the next cycle should have had someone in boxes and someone new like usual.
