i might get a second copy for cycling, but i have a question.

my main town is a physical copy, can my cycling town be on a physical copy too? or does that not work I:

I also recommend digital for a cycling town, mainly because it's easier to go on and go off, without having to switch cartridges with your main town.​

I have 2 physical games, and I have no problem with them. I just have to remember to switch the date for each game, but it's not too bothersome.

If you load the main town on the new date, and it saves then yes. Other wise no, just remember when your last save date is.

Four physical copies. Uh, Idk what you guys are talking about dates for unless you're using the internal DS clock; my cycling town is in January right now, and my other towns are on the correct date. They're all completely separate from one another, but if you're using the internal DS clock I don't know how that works. Might be finicky.

In your case since you already have 1 physical copy I would go with a digital copy for your 2nd copy cycling town. From personal experience I can tell you that's it's a pain in the tushie to keep switching out cartidges. Also I hate doing it because I'm always afraid I'm going to break the cartridge somehow :3

I have two copies. One digital and One Physical. The physical is my cycling town and works fine when I use it. Right now, my Cycling Town is in August, 4 years from now. It did not affect my digital copy at all.

I highly suggest not to use the DS Clock (only if you have daylight savings time)

To transfer from one town to another, you need a second 3ds. Or, you can transfer him to another person or cycler and then you can pick up from them from your other town.

Get someone to hold them for you, usually cyclers. Unless you have two 3ds then you can transfer them yourself
