Good evening, everyone! We have an egg hunt announcement! An additional clue for egg #21 will be posted Monday at 6 PM EDT if it hasn't been found by then. The egg hunt will also be extended until Tuesday morning at 10 AM EDT.
I just started my 2nd town last night and I'd like to cycle for a little while to give other people their dreamies and to get mine! But I also have 3 or 4 villagers I'd like to keep. Is that possible? How would I do it?
That is absolutely possible, I've done it twice. You can either do the long way and just time travel day by day, but that gets pretty tedious and will take forever to cycle. The way I did it was to keep on speaking terms with all your villagers (you don't have to do tasks for them, just make sure they won't say, "Whoa, I haven't seen you in forever!" or whatever they say when you talk to them again) and time travel constantly 6 days at a time after someone pings you. So day 1, someone pings you. If you don't want them to leave, keep them there and time travel 6 days again. Someone will ping you again. Every 6 days though, you'll need to talk to everyone, or at least the villagers you want to keep. If you only stay on speaking terms with only ones you want to keep and none of them ping you, I think it's pretty safe to time travel 5 days to have someone move out. If you speak with everyone and you get a ping and want them to move, TT to their move-out date, then after they move out, 2 days after that. From that point, go day by day until someone pings you again. I got this piece of advice from one of my friends and it worked pretty well for me.
I've also seen another guide found here but I found that sometimes that villager will not tell you a rumour of someone moving out so you have to speak to other villagers.
