Customizing furniture with clothing designs

I think some of the shirts/tees in this game looks pretty odd when worn on the character. On the flip side, some of them do have pretty cool designs that could be better used for customizing furniture imo.

At least for the Alpine set where all of fabric on them can be customized, I found a few shirts/tees that looks pretty nice to use. I used a night sky tee on the bed and a nebula tee on that sofa. Which shirt/tee design would you like better, or a mix of both to blend in with the whole room?

Have you guys found any nice looking combinations with clothing designs used on furniture?

For my space room I use the led display with the twinkle tee to look like stars

I love using shirt designs with the alpine series. I used that shirt, I forget what it's called but it looks like a ton of green swirls sprawled out, and I combined that with the green series and it looks nice.

And then I used the Swell Shirt and a ton of other shirts with the Alpine Series. But when customizing the Alpine Series with shirts, I ALWAYS make the wood color the darkest color because it usually looks best when it's dark. So just try changing the word color and see if it looks better with the shirts you are using, I think it would.

I really like the Night Sky one!!! If you used Sahara's Lunar Surface wallpaper with it I bet it would look so magical and sparkly and pretty! :3 The Nebula Tee is ok but I reallt like the night sky one! You should customize all your alpine furniture with it, I would be so excited to see the results!

i made my own custom star pattern for my alpine set because i didn't realize the night tee existed. welpppppp.

Also do you have pictures of your custom star pattern? :0 Its sounds really cute and Im actually kind of pretty interested in seeing it now, haha!

I really like how the night sky tee looks! My favorite shirts to customize furniture with are the gingham shirts (candy/lemon/melon/mint) and the flowery tee. I also used the cafe tee on some alpine chairs and ranch tea tables in my cafe room to match the red box sofas I've got in there. Basically anything with a repeating pattern tends to work well.

haha thanks, i really like it. i don't have any screencaps of it, but i should take some soon.
i won't be re-customizing them with the tee as i enjoy my results and i would rather it be special though.

I love customising my furniture with shirts! A particular favourite of mine is the cabin set customised with the dragon suit and the patchy wood design. I'm actually considering building my second alt's house around it!

Well, here you go. I customized most of the Alpine set with a night sky tee. I can't place everything down due to the lack of space, but I'll be expanding that room soon enough. Wallpaper and flooring are pending to be changed around too, but I think they all look pretty cool overall. I like the lamp the most with it. But what do you guys think?

I expanded the room and placed more furniture - will expand it again later and add even more stuff. I also just made a simple wallpaper to go with it. But what do you guys think? And anymore design ideas? ^^

The room looks pretty cool with the lights off too.

I used the night-sky tee and silver ore to customize the polka-dot series and made a cool space themed room.

I also used the patched shirt/dress to customize the sloppy set.

Additionally, I used the rainbow tank on a lot of different furniture, mostly lovely set stuff, director's chair, guitar, etc and made a rainbow room in my mayor's house.

I'm really happy with how all those turned out.
