Customizing Fences??

Hello everyone! I noticed something or a lack of thereof, and that's being able to customize fences, such as changing their color. I got the Simple Wooden Fence from Tom Nook a few days ago, and I really liked the style, just not so much the color, as it didn't suit my town theme. There was a photo that I saw a while back, that I believe is a promo image, featuring the simple wooden fence in the background, although instead of being light brown, it was white.



I thought after seeing this that I needed to get the recipe for the fence in order to customize it, and it ended up in the Nook Miles catalog, so I bought the recipe... To find out you can't customize them?

Am I just missing something, or is this a feature that wasn't added yet?

I hope they add this feature soon. It would make creating a town theme so much better

I want to say I've seen a recipe for the white picket fence in my nook miles terminal, so it's possible that white fence is just a separate item from the ones Nook gives.

Interesting. If anyone sees this please let me know! I have yet to see any color variants of fences in the terminal and I check everyday, but it could just be my luck.

The white picket fence is it's own recipe. You can't customize fences.

I noticed that too, and wondered perhaps you have to buy the fence by color when it is available.
