Custom designs on adopted villagers

Hey there

I was wondering if you can remove custom designs from adopted villagers by “complaining” to Isabelle?

Only temporarily

As Insulaire said, only temporarily. Villagers *really* do not like emptying their inventory of things they are gifted or pick up randomly. Your only options are:

1. Accepting it or,
2. Getting rid of them and obtaining them again for a clean slate.

Thanks for the answers! A bit strange you aren’t able to just remove it from their inventory. What if someone would get a villager that has an inappropriate custom design?

Unfortunately, though it seems obvious that the complaining to Isabelle system is supposed to work that way, it doesn’t (yet)

I got bob from somebody and they had a bunch of dresses for him I don’t know why he was wearing his normal outfit I checked his drawers and a bunch of dresses
