Currently Playing?

Currently just finished playing Sea of Stars and achieved their True Ending. I'm now just finishing getting the flimsy hammers I need to figure out what to do with them. But I'm nearly done with the game.

I am playing Monster Hunter wilds with my husband 🩷 I love playing together games and the game itself is really fun!

I just finished all the different endings on Cabernet. Also been replaying Dark Cloud on the PS2 one of my all time favorite games.

Just started playing Parkasaurus over the weekend! I’m loving it so far. It’s got a nice amount of challenge and complexity without feeling needlessly punishing. And your dinosaurs can wear hats.

Played Katamari on Steam. This was the most “okay” gaming experience I’ve had in ages. Obviously the music was spectacular and I liked the art and level of details, like the menus having that 6th gen game charm and quality where they’re actually in 3d space. There’s a really nice sense of friction to your ball and it isn’t too grippy or too smooth against objects most of the time. Something I really hated was that wether you can/can’t pick up an object is really hard without touching it. It’s trial and error and it’d make it way more annoying to play through the stages, I know you can check the size you need in the collection but that’s rote memorisation. The beach umbrellas are the absolute worst example. I appreciate that the routes weren’t too obvious but the level design did kinda blend together. The reused maps did a better job tricking you early on but once everything was on the world map it ended up feeling like too similar of a route. The control scheme ended up okay, but the input for dash is still terrible. It’s definitely a game you’ll get a lot more out of if you enjoy intrinsic reward and self-improvement in this gameplay, I can see why people really like it. Very short and easy to beat. All the challenge is in the postgame, it’s not so bad because it adds to the vibe. Just not for me to fall in love with. And completion in getting all the objects kinda just seems like busywork. I’ll probably just leave it as beaten but I’m willing to give it another chance later.

Mario kart Wii U on pretendo network.

Some Japanese girl has managed to get 1st or 2nd in the last 10 races. The only time I managed to get first and she rocks up past me in a bullet bill inches from the finish, positioning her first. Interesting. Very interesting.

I’m playing Persona 5 Royal right now; I’m debating restarting again since it has been so long since I played it last but I know if I do that I’ll never finish 😅. I love this game so much but it is overwhelming at times especially when I haven’t played in awhile and when I am trying to complete everything.

Persona 4 Golden, Miitopia, Pokemon Emerald, and Kirby's Return to Dreamland Deluxe are my current focuses

Scarmonde. It's basically a love letter to classic 8-bit JRPGs. Enjoying it very much so far!

Been regularly playing Xenoblade X DE since release day. This game is LONG, I finished the OG at 105 hours and I'm just about to start epilogue's last act at 125 hours lmao. I don't feel burnt out yet, crazy.
P.S. Skells are so fun.
