Hi!

So I've heard all about the campsite trick and I'm real curious about it. I currently have one of every personality type but sisterly, smug (target type) and jock. I have an amiibo card for a sisterly and a jock type villager but I don't really want to keep them permanently-- I'd mostly just have them around for the sake of the trick.

However my town is currently full of villagers I don't really wanna get rid of, but 3 of them are from amiibo. Will I be able to invite them right back via amiibo after I do this?

Yep you will be able to, although they unfortunately would not remember you and you would have to rebuild the friendship.

Mosshead answered this, but I wanted to chime in to recommend the campsite trick as well! :)
I'd say it's a little maddening, but overall WAY more efficient than island hopping, and a surefire way to get a villager you either can't afford (ahem, Raymond! haha), or is super specific and doesn't show up on trading forums.
Villagers apparently don't repeat in the campsite, so you're essentially guaranteed to run into who you want at some point!

It really is! I gave it a go last night and ended up finding Marshal on my 10th try. Unfortunately (or fortunately??) I'd ordered an amiibo keychain-thingy just a day prior and forgot about it haha. So at least I'll never have to worry about him leaving!

I really wanna try to get my gal Gabi this way because I doubt she's popular and would be very hard to find. I'd have to get rid of Audie to do it though. :(
