Cumulonimbus Clouds? Also, starting with weeds on the beach?

Hi! Just a couple of quick questions. How long does the cumulonimbus cloud season last for? Also, I just made my new island today and noticed that I started with weeds on my beach? Is that normal?

Okay, I figured out the cumulonimbus clouds, but not sure on the weeds part. Might be a glitch?

I don't think I've ever had weeds on the beach without me having put them there. Any chance you unknowingly planted them there?

I suppose it could maybe be a recent "feature" they implemented. Kinda makes sense, you turn up to an uninhabited island and have weeds to pull out of the beach ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Yeah, I guess it does make sense. It is a uninhabited island after all. I was thinking it might the type of island I chose too. It is a different one than I normally pick. So who knows.
