I believe people just need to be more careful with talking to their villagers and changing the time. I've TT'ed a month backwards and forward and never lost anyone. All of these TT accidents are making people uneasy about TT'ing, which I don't think people should be afraid of. I've had no problems with it and I'm always speaking to my villagers multiple times.

People are very uneasy about TTing because they don't know how.
There's so many "proven, 100% correct!" methods around these forums but you just have to be super observant to do it correctly.

In my current town I have not lost anybody super close...but in my old town Marshal moved away and I literally went crazy..partly the reason why I created a new town

I TT'ed day by day talking to Julian and Blaire, and I make a circle round my town twice just incase a villager wants to move and pings me.


One day I got lazy and TT'ed 3 days forward and I came back and I had a letter...

Blaire was gone D=



Being lazy has consequences I guess but I loved her so much ;-; </3

Yeah I agree with this, tbh the 2/2, day by day, whatever else methods are going to be crap if you don't pay attention to your animals. But there is the rare occasion when they're sneaky.

I haven't lost anyone, but when I was using the two days forward two days back thing in my main town to try and rid myself of an unwanted 10th villager, Marshal pinged me to tell me he'd be moving in two days - which was weird and made me feel like I'd missed one of his previous pings, and also made me a little nervous since no one else had mentioned he was moving (he was the last one I spoke to that day) and if I'd missed him and gone forward then he would have been in boxes.

I go day by day if I need to now but I try not to tt in my main town in general hahah

I lost a villager I promised to someone else. ;w; He never pinged me and none of my other villagers mentioned he was trying to leave. I only TTed because Gracie and I assumed that if someone wanted to move they'd ping me if I walked past them all.

I've lost Pietro and Beau due to time traveling, it taught me to be more careful ;w;
