So, Croque is a villager I got via streetpass move in. For the first couple of weeks he was in town, I never spoke to him. But a couple of weeks ago I swallowed my pride began talking him. But even then, he has never pinged me. Not even. Never to offer a sale, not to buy something, not to change his catchphrase/greeting, and I fear he will never ping me to move out. Did the fact I never spoke to him break him or something? Is this a glitch?
edit: yes I have also done the diving trick, all of my other villagers ping me
