I haven't checked his house, but it should be original. His catchphrase is original, but his shirt is not. He's wearing Bob's flowery shirt, but it shouldn't be hard to have him change it.
He looks like a Daruma doll, and the interior and exterior of his house match very well imho. The inside sort of looks like the outside of a Buddhist temple, if that makes sense! He would be a great addition to your town, especially if you have a Japanese/Chinese/Zen theme.
The first one who posts gets him! Otherwise I'll be voiding him in 30 minutes. Maybe less.
