Omigoodness! I was waiting for someone to reply before putting my critique for you!
I have to say that your town is very beautiful with all the flowers along the paths! There are a lot of trees, which I like.
The only suggestions that I had was try and get some more pwps in there and maybe organize your flowers along the paths.
Other than that, it's great! So sorry for a such long reply! Didn't mean to do that. I really liked your town!

Hey, I just visited your town and it was very cool! Like others have said, the matching flowers made for an eye-catching effect (and you really went all out with the hybrids!) and it was also neat how your house roof matched the flower colors. I also like the broad paths that go almost everywhere, I'd say your paths are way more developed than mine for sure.

As far as critiques go, I would love to see more trees! I don't think I saw any besides the ones in your orchards. I'd say they make towns look more three dimensional and combat flatness. Still, would love to see your town again! After being so great, it can only get awesome from here.

Yeah. HAH. Organizing flowers is really a fun activity (sarcasm..!) Especially with the Beautiful Town ordinance because I have found that villagers will just plant flowers whenever they want. It's great but just so many flowers get a little ridiculous!

So I just looked at your town! It think it's marvelous. The patterns look great! You have a ton of flowers and trees, which is something I always enjoy. I see that you have just a ton of stuff on the beach which I'm sure its for your town. I really like putting the roses around the house that match the color! The only thing I could really critique is the change in patterns on the ground. They kinda confused me from pattern to pattern, but that might just be me. Great town! I might just come back to check up on progress!

I was at an impasse when I created new characters for new patterns. I wanted to have each house represent each theme (traditional, Japanese, Fairytale, Modern), so I wanted paths that fit those themes in those sections of town. But I will look into organizing all of that a bit more :]

About the stuff on the beach, Those are just my bush saplings I'm collecting for landscaping xD. I ran out of storage room, so I had to put them on the beach haha.

My comments on your town:
on the left, I love how the path goes diagonally from Retail to Town Hall--definitely the shortest path between them.
I love the bushes around the train station, so you can keep an eye on where people are going haha.
I love the picnic area--clear delineation.
Some flowers in the top part of town are placed randomly, perhaps sorting them into group by type or color would be cool (but I understand it's hard to amass that many flowers of a certain type/color). I like how the flowers are arranged in the north eastern part of the island.
I like the neat rows of fruit trees. I personally like having equal numbers of each tree in an area, but I am really anal haha. I think there were 9 apple trees vs. 6 of the other ones. Are apples your native fruit? :]
I think Skye placed her plot in a really nice area--did you reset for that placement?
I really want Pierce now haha.
I love the exterior of your house..the color scheme is cool. I take it your favorite color is blue?
main room of your house--I love the Astro series in blue! I am copying this layout haha. The stained glass windows seem a little out of place to me, though. Were you the one that got entered in the furniture screenshot/house decorating contest? You were in my top 3 picks. In fact, I saved the pic that was entered so I could copy it haha.
I think the game room upstairs has everything too bunched up against the wall.

I really enjoyed your town! Unlike some of the others here I liked your pattern choice for the paths, quite unique ! I like how the whole town just flows along, I was able to run around the whole thing without running into dead ends or doubling back. The blue roses look awesome surrounding your house! And your main room was just sweet. Where can I get that globe display haha. The other rooms were fine but they definitely lack the WOW factor after running through the main one.

I noticed you didnt skimp on trees, and I can appreciate your neat rows but it seemed a bit overwhelming in places. It's probably all down to preference, I just prefer a more organic arrangement.

You are a flower hybrid master!!! I suck at hybrids, I probably have like 1 percent of what you have LOL. For shame. I lovvvvve the area with the purple roses and cosmos. They look fantastic.

Overall your town is shaping up nicely, as soon as those pesky villagers recommend some more PWP you will be golden!!

Can someone look at mine? It's a little bit all over the show at the moment, but that's because I'm currently in the process of destroying certain pwp's. Look past the mess and hopefully you'll find something you like. I hope at least my path will surprise you

Hey listen, I'm real sorry about giving you that negative critique earlier. I was in a bad mood and I don't think you deserved that.

Though I do suggest getting a different path. Maybe one without the brightly colored grass?

Alright, here is what I feel.

Pros:
. I really like that you have the bushes surrounding your town hall.
. I love the flowers you have growing and how parts of your town are color organized.
. Very spacious, it's different, but I like it.
. Diggin' the 3 way path. I normally only see 2, but your town is so spacious, you have room for 3 with ease!

Cons:
. I think you should put some more flowers in barren areas, include more bushes and spread out your trees.
. Definitely needs more PWP's.


I think your town is one of the more unique ones i've visited. Tons of room and tons of even greater potential than it already has and it has a lot so far.

Aw thanks for the words of criticism! The wow factor of the other rooms will come with time and a little thought, haha. And, the hybrid flowers just take a lot of time (and I like to TT to produce a bunch in a short period of time.) And, I will definitely check out your town!

Oh I completely understand. We all have our ups and downs. No worries. I'm glad I was the one that you got some of your frustration on and not someone else, I can take it (plus, I have a sister... hah). And some of your points are valid, I will definitely have to think about those.
