Cranky suggestions?

I love the crancky wolves! I got Fang pretty early and I love him. Looks wise he remined me of Yuri from Fire Emblem Three Houses so I had to take him in. If I could have more villagers on my island I'd love to have Dobie too! I meet him on a mystery island once and I though his zombie like look was super cool!

I’m personally fond of Hopper, he’s been in just about every town I’ve ever had in past games. Lil cranky Penguin.

I actually got his amiibo recently in a random packet and I love his oversized eyebrows so he's definitely an option if I don't feel like finding a trader!

aaa I have been so excited to pick up FE 3 houses but just haven't had the chance yet (I am fairly new to the switch) It looks like the best fe game so far. Thanks for the suggestions!

There's loads of crankies I love! Dobie the elderly wolf is adorable, Knox is a knight chicken, Spike is a cool looking Rhino, Boris is a black boar (one of my dreamies!), I think they have some really great designs!

Throwing a name into the pot I haven't seen yet: Rolf! He's very pretty in my opinion, and has this cool deal where his wallpaper gives him a lense flare. It looks like he's living on a mountain at dawn, lol.

I had pretty much overlooked Knox until this comment so tysm, he's actually pretty cute! Definitely another great list of options. Spike is also very cool

I love Gaston like no other - totally not expecting that when I started NH as I've never bothered with him before.

I also really love Butch, Walt, Dobie, Hopper, Rolf and Elvis.

I'd say go with Tom, Static, Kabuki, or Wolfgang. Some underrated ones I really like too are Vladimir and Ricky

Octavian. I don’t know if he is popular or not but I found him on a nook island and let him move into my town and now I love him!! He’s so cute and has a little bandage on the back of his head and always looks angry but I love him, he always gives me gifts and runs around my village

I'm pretty sure crankies are my favorite personality type so I'd say I like a good amount of them, Hamphrey, Static, Dobie, Roscoe, Butch, croque, monty, spike~ the deep voices are always so funny to hear hehe I have hamphrey and roscoe on my island if you'd like to visit. (if you're still doing that. I mean you can come for funsies too lol)

I have 4 Cranky villagers in my town.
- Rolf, the white tiger
- Apollo, the bald eagle
- Dobie, the grandpa wolf
- Elvis, the lion king (literally)

They all act like your typical dad/uncle/grandpa. Crankies are the father figure in Animal Crossing. I love them so much.

i love octavion - i have him on my island and his cranky but super cute and i love when he naruto runs - hes also really nice and has the coolest house iv'e seen.
honorable mentions - kabuki and roscoe - very cool designs, my friend has kabuki and he loves him

Hamphrey the tiny cranky hamster is my absolute favorite, but I have Wolfgang at the moment and really enjoy him as well. He just looks so elegant. I gifted him a Trenchcoat and he is rocking it.

I currently have Static and Roscoe. I’ve had Static in almost every AC town since GameCube, so I’m a bit biased. They both have very cool design and their dialogue thankfully is not too similar. I had Elvis for awhile as well. I like him a lot and he has a great house interior, but his dialogue was too similar to Static.

I had Groucho in New Leaf, and i've been fond of him ever since!! and i love his look in New Horizons c: Rolf, Static, Roscoe, and Fang are all super cool too.

I have Roscoe, Fang and Chief and all are great! Roscoe is pretty edgy but he's super cool! Chief loves to sing but a lot of people don't seem to like his house. Fang loves to read and really feels like an old man compared to the other two haha

I'd say Chief, Fang, Wolfgang, Kabuki, or Octavian. I'm not crazy about the cranky villagers. I've had Chief and Cyd and I'd definitely go with Chief. I kind of regret letting him move out because I can't find another cranky villager I like as much.
