ugh so i made the stupid mistake of talking to Gladys a lot today and multiple times she re asked if she should still move out (she was planned to move out on 25th) but i kept talking to her and about an hour ago she decided that all this conversation has made her realize how much she'll miss me. So she's not moving out. I had an uchi villager all lined up to move in and now they can't. i didn't even do the smart thing of quitting without saving.
How longt do you think it'll be before she'll ping me again? She's the only villager i want to move out. I estimated about 15 weeks in my head but i hope it's sooner :(

It's all up to chance when she'll ping again.
In the future, if she mentions moving do NOT talk to her again.
I'm sorry this happened :(

Well, sorry for you but there's no way to tell how much time it will take, because the villager-wanting-to-move is absolutely random. Nothing you do/don't will affect that.
I remember when I had Jambette, she is the longest I needed anyone to move out, it took nine (in-game) months for her to be the one asking. On the other side, when Rolf moved in, the day after-tomorrow he was the one wanting to leave.

Oh no! Never talk to villagers after they ask to move. :( Hopefully she will ask again soon.

yeah, it's best to avoid villagers you want gone once they've asked you to move out! good luck, i hope you can get her out!

wait really? when a villager pings me to move I continue talking to them and they tell me they don't want to move several times throughout the week but i keep telling them to and they move. Does your method work better? It'd be a lot less time consuming for me!!!

Talking to them can bring back the same luck-of-the-draw prompt as the first time they ping you. While you've been lucky thus far with them sticking to their plans, they can also change their minds. Not talking to a villager you chosen to move after they agreed to will almost always ensure they move on the date they originally proposed. (I say almost since people have reported villagers they told to move decided to stay despite never bringing it back up)

You really do not need to talk to villagers once they've agreed to move. If they ping you during the week, just ignore them or tt to the date they're supposed to be moving so you avoid them completely. Talking to them when you want them gone so badly is just asking for problems. No idea how long it will take to get her to ask again. If your town is at 10 villagers then they normally ask every 4-5 days but that is entirely random which villager asks of course. She could wait for somebody else to ping and then ask again after them or she could wait for your whole town to ping before asking, unfortunately :( sorry :(

Ohh too bad. Yeah I was carelessly tting and I just lost marshal good that I have another marshal in my 2nd town but I have to do the 16 villager cycle for him because I literally have no other villagers I like to put in my town if I left him.
