Is there something in particular you dislike? I mean everyone who looks at the pictures will probably give their own opinion as to why it is or isn't working. You don't want to jump into their ideas, without having a clear idea what you don't like yourself.
Aww I love the woodsy feeling. Maybe you could replant your oranges somewhere else, and just have regular trees there? You could also also move your flowers (I like sparse flowers in woods tbh) closer to the trees, and have clovers in the open instead.
I'd personally chop down those trees between the houses because it does make it look a bit cramped. I'd move those flowers somewhere else as well, and leave that little fire pit area bare.
By the way, as someone who really likes the Fire Pit and was disappointed that you can only have the log bench face forward, I love that stump idea you're utilizing and I'm totally going to do that in my town now. I don't know whether you came up with it yourself or were inspired by some other town, but if you did come up with it, bravo.
I think it is a very cute area, but I think a few more bushes lining around the campfire area would be nice too, with some clovers scattered or between each one? Then you could also scatter them around the middle with just a few flowers to fill the space...? Whatever you do I'm sure it will look cute! It already seems quite pretty.
i would figure out how you want to move around that area. where do you usually come from? where do you usually leave? i like when those paths to be open and not having a good exit or enter spot is generally, i think, what can make an area feel too small
