Corruption victims: post your stories from the month after!

So, corruption victims: what was your town like after a month? A month after corruption that is. I personally was pretty good. After I discovered mine had corrupted and started a new town and the works, me and my BFF were seeing who could catch the most bells in an hour. A couple of weeks after, we were doing it again, and my mom wanted to talk to me about picking out a dress for my cousin's wedding, and I set my DS down next to her, and she secretly let herself in my town and dropped a whole bunch of non-native fruits in front of re-tail, fancy Gracie Grace clothes on the beach where I dump all my outfits, fancy Gracie Grace furniture in front of my house, and a whole bunch of fortune cookies outside of main street. I felt guilty that I couldn't pay her back, so I figured out what she wanted most in the game with an interrogation. She wanted a Jacob's Ladder, so I'm dedicating my play to get a perfect town and get her a Jacob's Ladder. So, after a month from the corruption, I have 20,000 bells, 5 emotions, 60% of the Princess Series, all of the green GracieGrace outfit stuff (my favorite color!), and a couple changes away from a perfect town. How were you doing after a month from corruption?

I have never had my town corrupted, thankfully. If I did, I hope I would be able to bounce back as well as you have!
I really am just posting on this thread because I would love to give a Jacob's Ladder or two to you, to give to your friend. Would you be interested?
