Copy villagers stuff?

If you go into a villagers home and they say you can copy anything in their house, what can you copy and how do you do it? Do their furniture suddenly appear in the catalogue in T Mart?

I think you can go up to different pieces and they will sell them to you

They're not talking about literally copy&paste sort of copying, but rather they're saying that you are free to copy HOW they put together their house. Layout-wise and such.

EDIT: And, of course, sometimes they offer to sell you some of their furniture, as mentioned above.

How do I get them to sell me their stuff? Before they have said to pick anything and they would sell it but it had to be a certain thing because they would refuse and say it was important to them.

They are not willing to sell every item in their home, just like you would not sell them absolutely everything in your own house. You just have to find the item/s that they ARE willing to sell. Sometimes it's just one thing in their entire room. x.x
