I noticed there is a lot of contradicting information regarding Animal Crossing.

Sites like Nookpedia, Thonky and even Animal Crossing wikia, aren't always reliable.

For instance the hybrids in City Folk. Some sites say a red tulip and a white tulip equals a purple tulip. Another sites say Red and Yellow tulip equals Purple. You can't see the woods for the trees.

Another invalid piece of information, I found on AC wikia, is that you can uptain colored feathers by donating a certain amount of bells in City Folk, the same way as in Wild World. That is false! In a guide on GameFAQ it says you have to save up a certain amount of bells in the bank to get the colored feathers.

I think it's probably just people assuming one game works like the other games. I'm not sure.

I've definitely run into contradicting information when trying to catch fish and bugs. It can be frustrating sometimes.

I haven't found any contradicting information on Nookipedia yet, but I've seem some on Wikia. It might be due to the fact that it's easier to sign up for Wikia (heck I think you don't even need an account to make edits). At least people will soon see the mistake and will fix it. The biggest information contradictor would be Prima Games' guides. A ton of facts in their guides are wrong so you should never trust those guides.

I recall of Caroline's profile in Animal Crossing wiki which they said she had a nose with almost the same color as her face, but it was a issue of their displayed image and not the actual in game model at all.

Even as Bliss her nose had a different color.

my mains source is thonky and usually it works well for me ^^

something like that happened with harvest moon a wonderful life my gosh the information about this game were more myts than facts

That's why I like the guide books, all the information I've gotten from the Guide Books have been spot on, I am sure now that my ACNL book wouldn't be quite right because of the update so it'd obviously be missing a lot of stuff as well. But yeah you can't always trust the websites, that's why even when trying to find something out I like to ask people on here so other's can test it or know from experience.
