Confusion about Lolly planning to move.

Lolly's planning to move, according to Muffy.
Talked to Lolly and she gave me the dialogue about untrue rumors, which means no one's moving?
Talked to Alice, Apple, and Merengue as well and they gave me their dialogue about rumors as well.
Does that mean Lolly's not moving...?

Not taking any chances. Gotta get her to ping so I can stop her.

I once had the something similar happen with Wolfgang. I didn't play for a week and several people told me Wolfgang was moving. I couldn't get Wolfgang to ping me though and he wouldn't talk about it so he ended up packing up the next day. I miss him.
I think that if I had gotten to him earlier he would've told me though. Just keep trying to get her to ping you and be incredibly persistent!

I got her to ping. I had to keep starting and saving, but I got her to ping. Thank goodness. I don't get all the conflicting dialogue, but least I solved the problem, I guess. I'm sorry about Wolfgang. That would make me so sad to lose a villager like that.

Awesome! Glad you saved her, Lolly is WAY too cute to move out. And it's ok about Wolfgang. I have Tom now and love him more, plus Wolfgang's taken up residency on main street so I see him all the time. xD

That sucks bc I've been relying on villager rumors to tell me when no one's moving and it hasn't failed me yet, I hope that was just a weird one-time glitch.... well glad you managed to save her!

Lolly & Merengue are my go-to informants for villager moving alerts. Before that, it was Astrid's department.

Yeah, took me changing the time twice within the same day to *finally* got Mott to ping after Merengue alerted me...
It's weird like that. Some would chase you down and ping you (like my dear Tom) XD

Talked to her again and she's telling me the rumor that's associated with no villagers wanting to move.
She's refusing to ping.

This is a tricky kind of move and usually happens when you have 10 villagers. The best thing to do is just continue talking to them over and over again. I heard rumors about Eunice moving, but when I walked past her she didn't ping. However, when I talked to her, she brought it up. I had to talk to her about 10 times though. What I did was talk to her, then go back inside and talk to her and so on and so forth.

When you save and load, did you change the time to 2-3 hours ahead?
That worked for me (with 10 villagers) ^^
