Confusing Villager Names.. Why Nintendo??

Why does Nintendo have to keep introducing/getting rid of villagers that have the same name? it's so confusing.. i was wondering if you could think of any more..

Heres Marcy the Kangaroo..

But then this is Marcie the Kangaroo

This is Sally the Squirrel

Wait but This is Sally

Actually no thats Hazel...
Or is this Hazel?

This is Tammi..

But this is Tammy?

Can you all think of anymore examples like this ?

Anteater was an islander and hippo from Dobutso no mori, animal forest and animal crossing
