I was playing in the island and found some "Perfect Cherries".

I thought I was lucky, but when I returned from the tour, I went into the drop off zone and saw the name.

Now I feel really stupid :P

Lychees and perfect cherries look pretty different once you see them all the time (I do, since cherries are my native). Lychees are a much darker red than cherries or perfect cherries.

When you're blazing through the labyrinth minigame...

And you pick up a lychee instead of a cherry...

Urgh...

I got hawk eyes
They're made for seein' fruits...
I don't like them island trees
I kill them by their roots!

I made a rap about it... because I felt like it. Peace.

;)

Lychees are also 3 per stem, aren't they? Cherries are 2 per stem.

Yes.

I don't even know how they're confused with perfect cherries, regular cherries I can kind of understand since they are sort of the same color, but perfect cherries are yellow-ish in color, and you see the lychees growing on the island. I mean you really think that they're giving perfect fruits for free on island tours?

I understand when you're looking at it quick that its hard to tell the difference. Ah we'll, now you can plant loads of lovely lychee trees!
