I've been resetting for about an hour for a decent map for my 2nd town. I found one I sorta like, but I'm not too sure about. The good thing: it has Ankha, one of my dreamies for this town! The bad thing: Jambette. *shudder*

So should I keep? Or keep resetting?

It's not too bad of a map! What really bothers me is that one house in the middle right by the edge of the water.

I'd say keep resetting until you find one you absolutely love vs. sorta liking

Whoa, I say keep! It should be easy to move out any unwanted villagers at the beginning in any case, I love me that plaza and hall placement. And the little pond is out of the way too so you can easily build a street near the Re-Tail. The river is bendy and spectacular too.

Yeah, the map is definitely the closest I've gotten to what I want. It has a south-facing waterfall and the train station/town hall/plaza and re-tail are all together. (well, with the exception of Re-Tail, but at least it isn't on the southern part of the map.) I would have preferred apples as my native fruit but it has peaches, which is alright I suppose.

Keep! I like how there is one pond only and a vast upper area that you can really design. If you are into plot resetting you can try to cram all your villagers into the bottom area below the river to have a "neighborhood" and the upper area can be whatever you want. I like it.

I've decided to keep it! I really love the idea of a little neighborhood in the bottom left area and I placed my mayor's house overlooking the beach. Plus Ankha <3

Woah, this map is pretty legit

I say keep it as long as you're happy with it

Imo you should never ever ever get rid of a town layout only because of the starting villagers. It's just silly and you can always get them to move so it's not like it's permanent

Yeah I was really surprised when I saw it! Brewsters would go nicely between the train station and re-tail too, and the one pond is so out of the way I don't have to even worry about it. Thankfully I didn't get pears as my native fruit.

pears are nothing compared to oranges...at least the perfect fruit variety

I'd say keep.

It's easy to move villagers out after you get started...It's not so easy to reset your map layout.

I think you made the right choice. Ankha can be hard to get and that one villager will be reasonably easy to get rid of and you're pretty happy with the map.

Sometimes it's just not worth it/fun to reset anymore, either and you might not get something better.

OhMyGosh. I love that town layout so much. <3 AHHHH. If I had it, I would keep it and work with it. It has so much potential. Look at where Re-Tail + Town Hall + Plaza is. PERFECT. Look at all that open space. PERFECT. The little island which leads to the dock, PERFECT.

Keep it. {:

I say keep it...
And at least if you get Jambette out, then you don't even have to worry about her being a random move in or wifi/street pass dumps for at least another 16 villager move outs. Think about it. ^.~
