Complete Newbie

So, not only am I new to Animal Crossing: New Horizon... I'm new to the series altogether. This is my first Animal Crossing game, and I can't believe what I've been missing! Loving this game and have been obsessed for about a week now.

Anyway... AeroFunk80 here (Johneric in-game), and I'm the happy resident of Dunbaer. Still a small little village with only 7 residents, but I just opened Nook's Cranny, and my museum and 3 new homes are being built right now. I'm OBSESSED with customizing characters in video games, so YES I have a ton of outfits already LOL My favorite type of games: action/adventure (God of War, Horizon: Zero Dawn), Survivor/Horror (Resident Evil, Dead by Daylight), and a big RPG fanatic! I'm LOVE Steam and play a lot of Early Access/Indie games. I'm a big PC gamer but do have a PS4 and Switch.

I also enjoy developing games. Nothing serious. Just 2 games completed with RPG Maker, and I'm working on my first commercial Sci-fi/Horror game. Hoping to put out a demo really soon!

Can't wait to meet some of you amazing people and visit each other's islands

It's really exciting to play ACNH for the first time! Do you like the villagers that have wound up on your island so far? 🏝

Thanks S.J.! I do like my first two villagers. I got Tank and Raleigh (I think that's her name). Excited to get 3 more. Participated in the Stalk Market for the first time today, too.

I guess my favorite RPG (probably more of an RPG/Adventure) is Dragon Age: Inquisition. I did just play a great game called Moonlighter. A lot of fun. Dungeon crawler, but you have a shop to run during the day. So you sell items you find in the dungeon. It was a lot of fun.

Hmm, I think you got Reneigh, the horse? She’s very cute, and so is Tank!

DA:Inquisition is good (though I preferred DA2)! I’m really happy to see a DA4 coming (particularly excited that it’s set in the Tevinter Imperium), though I’m a bit sceptical with all of the changes to direction and production staff! You mentioned you like character customisation, and I think the DA series is really good with character customisation!

Yeah, any game where I can fully customize my character the better. I'm a huge Sims fan. Not really into Sims 4, though. But I just love changing my character's look with armor and clothing, and if they let me go even further by customizing their initial look at the start (hair, eyes, etc)... I'm even more in love with the game.

Honestly, that's how my friend sold me on Animal Crossing. She showed me all the clothing options, shopping, and customization... and I was sold. I mean... I've barely played and probably have 20 outfits already LOL

Acnh and Bell tree forum are amazing and it makes the game 10x better, I meet most of my friends via here!!! and improved my island .
