Hi guys :)

I wanted to get the Companion Guide from Future Press, but was wondering if it would be a little outdated due to the update and future updates as well. I heard a rumor that Future Press is working with Nintendo to have updates available digitally for the guide, but I don't know about the physical copy. Is the guide just nice to have for reference anyways? I have always loved player's guides.

Also, this is kind of a newbie question, but how can I tell how many critters, fossils, etc. I currently have in my museum?

Thanks for the help!

Hi :)
Here a blog post that is great goes over of the guide book also has a picture of the table content

Yea it will be outdated and there a disclaimer in the beginning about updates won’t be included but that doesn’t make the information any less useful. Perhaps that they will release digital updates, that would be cool if they did. I understand there is the internet to reference but there something about having the book being there to physically reference :)

I have mine on pre-order right now. I didn't know about the possibility of providing digital updates. That is pretty cool!

Hundred percent agree about having the book on hand, flipping through it and etc. Yes, might not be as updated or fast compared to searching, but something about how the information is all laid out...always been a fan of guides since back in the 90s with Brady Games and EGM guides lol
