If a villager asks to move out and you deny it, you can safely travel as far in time as you like.

Well on a day that a villager wants to move you can tt any number of days forward and no villagers would've moved

Talk to the villagers and if someone considers moving out, one of them will tell you. Then save the game and reopen it and then walk to the villager considering moving out and they should finally ping you.

Yeah, you'll have to do it daily. Really sucks. For me, I did a few days every real day so it didn't feel so overwhelming.

I might do the same thing you did, then. It'll take a while, but if my sister gets to keep her dreamies, it'll be worth it

I made it back to real time and still have my dreamies in tact. Waaaaay worth it! Beats having to do the 16 villager cycle! :C
