Coffee Beans

I'm sorry if someone has already posted a thread about this, but I've searched through the forums and wasn't really successful in finding the answer, and I'd rather not go through hundreds of posts to find out. xD

So, after working part-time at the cafe, Brewster gives you coffee beans. In my case, he gave me the best quality ones, as I used a guide. Should I just sell them to Re-Tail? Put them in the flee market for how much... etc. They're just hanging around taking space in my storage.

Can you DO anything with them? Brewster gave me a coffeemaker and a grinder, but I can't make them grind the beans he gave me. It seems rather silly for them to implement the whole part-time barista thing and then make the beans unusable.

I thought superb beans were only 2k?? I wish they had more use though ): like using the stuff Brewster gives.

The beans sell for 2k to Reese, but if you put them up in a flea market spot, you can mark them up as high as 7,999 bells (store value is 8k, don't think any villagers would buy them for higher than SP).

I sell them in the flea market at 7,999. Haven't tried higher but I agree, not sure they'd pay more. Might have to try it now though!

I live in Seattle, and am used to paying too much for excellent coffee, but dayummm. j/k!

I use my coffee beans to decorate my kitchen. Makes me feel all fancy.

yeah, the first time a villager came in to Re-Tail and bought them I felt a little guilty.....but I took the bells!

I might keep a bag eventually but since he gives you one every day they'll pile up fast!

I've been selling them for only 6K bells. I'm going to have to jack up the price today.
