Coffee Beans?

I get Superb Coffee Beans from Brewster when I complete his job, is there another purpose for them, or are you supposed to just sell them?

You could display them in your house, but yeah, put them in Re-Tail. Villagers will buy them at 3.5-4x what Reese suggests, as long as you're in the store to convince them to buy.

But I could be wrong? That's the only use I've found...

If you have high friendships with your villagers you can sell them at Re-Tail for 9,500 bells. They will say its to high sometimes but every single one has sold for me so far

I've kept all my beans so far since I'm awful at getting rid of things, but selling them is the most useful thing they can be used for.

the formula for getting villagers to buy something is Y x 4 - 1 = the max they will buy.
Y = the original price.

So lets say you took the superb beans which sell for 2.5k. 2.5k x 4 = 10,000 - 1 = 9,999..so the max price you could get the beans should be 9,999. I think. This also works for fossils which you can sell and make a boatload of money.

Just a small correction: The normal price for superb coffee beans is 2,000 bells, not 2,500. So you can sell them to villagers for 7,999 bells.
