Club Tortimer?

Club Tortimer allows you to go to the island with other players, either from your region or worldwide, using an internet connection. I believe you can be paired up with up to four people but usually, at least in my case, you're paired with one or two other people. You can buy membership when you go to the island for 50 medals.

Most of the people that use it are friendly but sometimes you may come across users who are rude, ask you for bells, try to 'trap' you in the island by starting a tour and not going on it. Things like that happen sometimes but it isn't a huge problem and there is an option to block someone if you don't wanna run into them again. I personally rarely use it anymore but it can be fun sometimes to go and maybe find some nice people to do tours with. 50 medals is a lot but I'd give it a try if you want!

Basically all covered, but check on your island everyday until you find this 'letter set' which is the membership.
You can get exclusive items such as wetsuits, silver axes, a toy hammer and wearable items. Someone may also join you, and you could exchange FC and do Island Tours togeher andmaybef***yours***up

However I've seen cases such as this
If you run into these two, immediately leave or flip the wifi switch. I came onto the island wearing some Gracie clothing, which they both asked to catalog. When I said no, they both replied that they had the Gracie store so they can reorder it if I stop being “selfish” and let them catalog it. Mayor Liana started a tour, but then never sat down so I couldn’t leave. Her friend Mayor Brittany then proceeded to bully me, ask my age, and finally screaming that I’m ugly and fat. Finally, both of them swam out into the ocean so I couldn’t leave. After that, they trapped me in a corner, demanding bells, my clothes, and my phone number. I eventually flipped the wifi switch, losing the bells I used to get to the island and the wetsuit and Mermaid Screen that I bought.
~SIGNAL BOOST~
This makes me sick.
How can anyone.
Remember that you should not go beetle hunting on CT, and that the Wi-Fi switch is your best friend o_o

My first trip to CT was literally awful...I wanted to greet them but they called me an old hag and I told them that I was only a year older than her >_>
We kept on arguing but then I decided to leave the little *** alone.
And I tried to give someone a 99k bag, but they didn't take it because they were scared XD; iwastryingtobekind. welpneveragain.

Good luck with pissinglittle9yearoldsoff trolling a troll then .-.

Your chances of getting that one rude person is rare. You don't have to worry. I've always went beetle hunting on the island with friendly people. (Usually catching me 150k+ bells worth) But it is important to either leave immediately or flip the switch if you got those rude and trapping people. However, if you meet people you can trust, go on ahead and add them. (I've met a lot of friendly people my age, all around the world)
I've only had a couple of occasions when I found kids who'd ask for money. (I left immediately after one started asking)

CT does have its fair share of trolls. I say it's split 30/70 in terms of trolls, immature people/real people who you can actually speak to without the temptation of a countertroll. They do appear sometimes, but I wouldn't say that it's half the time, but at the same time, they do appear semi-frequently.

I go to CT a lot, so I have encountered many, many, trolls. It used to bother me, but for some reason I now find it amusing.I guess it's a bit entertaining for me.lol.However, I have met way more nice people than rude.I have even made a few good friends from CT.Just be careful who you give your friend code to.I have not had problems with the few that I have allowed to visit my town, but I've heard some horror stories. One of the most annoying things about CT to me is that almost everyone on there will ask for my friend code.I always tell them that I don't have it with me.That usually works, but a couple of times they have gotton mad and flipped the wifi.lol.
