Have you experienced a Club Tortimer troll yet?

I have only like 1 time. That person wanted to exchange fc's (friend codes) So I said no to that, and he said I was an idiot because I didn't know what he meant by "nobrainer" and then he error'd me.

I've heard of these guys! Some of them won't let you leave the island until you give them all your stuff!

That's pretty scary and I hope that doesn't happen often, but I'd still be cautious about it.

i've encountered beggars, but ive never give anything to any of them. its just annoying, but i havent had any cut the wireless over it. there have only been a few people that as far as i could tell intentionally cut the wifi just to be jerks, but most people are to have fun and play nice doing so.

Usually if someone annoying wants to add me, I give them my friend code but I change one of the numbers so that they it says the friend code is invalid. So if my friend code is 4124-5522-6526, I'll end up changing it to 4124-5522-6536.

Troll wouldn't let me leave the island and kept getting in the way of me talking to Lelani to leave. It was super annoying.

Once there was a girl from my own city (which is pretty rare) who blocked me on the Island just when I arrived (so basket was empty) and urged me in an agressive way to gave her all my money and be quick. I was laughing so much. I was wondering if she was going to beat my chibi to death with her rod. I took the time to block her and then said, Hey look at this! and switched off the wi-fi. Now I troll them a bit too myself, I give them money, then switch off.

Yesterday, I encountered a troll, finally. They didn't let me leave unless I went to a tour with them. So I agreed, and they proceeded to sit down, and I QUICKLY got off my chair, making them head to the tour on their own. I just laughed my butt off and left. XD

I went island hopping last night and the first island I got to the person asked for money. I had a lot so I just gave them a pocketful then left, I didn't want to flick the switch cuz I was able to get some white wetsuits. On another island, I didn't meet a troll, just some guy that was able to "sneak" a giftwrapped throwing beans and gave it to me as a gift. So, really, I haven't encountered much trolls on the islands.

I've had people just keep their inventory open and not letting me leave. Whenever I go, I look at what's in the gift shop, and leave right away. I'm only there for the furniture and clothing, not to play tours or give into trolls.
