Looking For Clothing designs tips and tricks

Does anyone have an guides or videos for designing clothes? Like knowing where on the grid to put the slash or fold over for a kimono design or making shapes like flowers?

I can play around with the app but I would also to learn some tricks other people have picked up and would like to share
