So lately, I've been getting random people requesting to add me in MSN Messenger. Every time I add them, the first message they tell me is to go to this website/download a file with "one of their embarrassing pictures" or some 18+ site. I know that those are viruses. I have some viruses on my PC, but they're quarantined. My question is, how do they know my e-mail? I'm suspecting that one of the ad-bots in TBT got a hold of it through the member library (I posted my e-mail there) and spread it. Is the problem in my PC, or through the ad-bots?

Have you registered on some odd websites? That may be the problem.
I doubt it's your PC, What programs have you downloaded recently?

They can easily get a hold of your email just by you signing up on websites, just do what I do and block any emails you don't know.

I almost have those same problems. Sometimes, strangers add me on Windows Live Messenger (MSN), then I decline their request. I usually check their profiles, and other sources to confirm whether it's a trusted person or not.
Also, I get junk mails in an average of 1 to 3 junk mails per day. Just ignore them. I believe they're a trap.

I'll get those on MSN every once in awhile. 1/3 of the time it'll be someone I think I might know. But I just started getting junk mail now. What did I sign up for?
:P
