So sorry if this has been asked before, but I've been looking online for a half hour for the solution to this! A 10th villager just moved into my town a couple of days ago, so I assumed that he was just one from a town I've recently visited or something like that. I went and introduced myself (followed by talking to him around 6 times), and he never mentioned another town. Is this possible? I thought that 10th villagers could only move in from visiting a friend's town and talking to their villagers, camping, or asking other villagers to move in. Please help! Thank you!

I believe 10th villagers dont appear randomly. He must have come from another town. I have adopted several villagers, but even with multiple daily interactions they dont often mention their old towns. They can mention it in their first conversation with you, but after that it is quite randomly mentioned.
I hope you can find out where he came from and solve this mystery =)

Thank you! Yeah, I found a similar case online that said that I just haven't talked to him enough yet. I guess I'll just continue talking to him to see.
