Oh my goodness, I've never tested the Gracie clothes catalog before. I've definitely cataloged the princess set from someone, so I know that Gracie furniture works for cataloging.
I will gladly take the matador pants and catalog the pastel-stripe dress in exchange for the fossil. Your town or mine?

Eureka! The cataloging was a success!
So now we know for the future, cataloging works with pretty much all items. The only ones exempt are streetpass items because they're not in the catalog.

The only difference is that Gracie items cannot be REORDERED. So yes, they exist in my catalog, but I cannot reorder them. Which is fine. The same goes with certain event items. The more you know... /starflash
