Short story.
I bought a download code for this on an online retailer a little while back, and for some reason the code WILL NOT redeem on my account. I called Nintendo Support, they were able to confirm that it is an NA code, and it is a valid code for Tomodachi Life, but for some odd reason I keep getting a "There was an error, please try again later" message anytime I tried to redeem it. They also told me they cannot reimburse me for my purchase in any way (credit or a new code).
ANYWAY. I gave up. Not worth the headache. I'm just going to cut my losses and move on.
It's still valid, and I believe in karma, so I'm giving it away here!
