Civilization for Switch?

Civ is one of my favorite game series from when I was much younger. Anyone else super excited for this to come out on a handheld? I think it is gonna flourish on a console like that.

Maybe I'll actually be able to understand more of the mechanics this way lol

I don’t play it myself, but I’ve talked to a lot of people online and IRL that have enjoyed it in the past years, so I imagine a lot of people are excited for this.

Civilization 5 is one of my most played games on my computer. That being said, I probably won't be interested in a Civ game for the Switch. I prefer using a mouse and keyboard over touch screens. Even if they made it super easy to control, I already know most keyboard shortcuts for 5. Plus, it's Civilization 6 which I had limited enjoyment of personally. 4 and 5 are still better in my opinion.

I hope it does well though. I'm sure there is a console market for Civilization, and it will probably work quite well on the Switch. I just don't have much interest in playing it myself.
