City Folk on Wii U?

I'm planning on getting City Folk. Yeah, I'm kinda going backwards in the series. xD I know you can play Wii games on the Wii U, but will City Folk not be playable on the Wii U? Sorry if this is a dumb question. >.>




(And yes, I know about the Wi-Fi. ;l)

City Folk is playable on your WiiU, there's nothing you can't do except Wifi stuff. It's exactly the same as it is on your Wii.

I've tested it out on mine. I transferred over my save data to my WiiU and tried it out, everything works the same. With the exception of WiFi since that function was shutdown for Wii/DS games on May 20th. Sadly new CFers can't get any of the 4 years of DLC... Have fun and try to avoid desertification now!
