Citizen satitsfaction?

Isabelle says that the trash is making them feel like they are in a landfill! but there is not trash or unsightly things!! just many flowers! is it possible too many flowers is a bad thing?!

I don't think it's possible for there to be so many flowers that you get penalised for it, no. I've seen towns with a "perfect town" status that literally have flowers in every available space on the map.

Isabele says that even when there's no actual rubbish on the ground, as well as when there is - the term just means litter on the ground, basically. Here's a guide that includes a list of thins that *can* be on the ground without impacting a "perfect town" ranking. One thing that usually catches people by surprise is that perfect fruit baskets count as "litter". There are differing opinions on whether perfect fruit itself counts a litter or not, but if you have any laying around, I suggest picking them up and seeing if that helps.

Before you posted this I removed my perfect fruit baskets from the ground and its fixed, so I can confirm that perfect fruit counts as litter even if its not rotten :|

No problem, glad you got it sorted.

I found out about the perfect fruit baskets = litter thing the hard way myself. Rotten fruit made sense, but perfect fruit? That was tricky to pinpoint lol. I never had any single pieces of perfect fruit down though so I don't know for sure if it's only the perfect fruit baskets and rotten fruit that are problems, or if it's all perfect fruit. Might have to test it sometime and find out!

Yes and no! You need 100 trees minimum, and I forget the maximum # but Isabelle will always mention it if the only problem is too many/too few trees (I think she says "greenery"). There is no such thing as "too many" flowers though, in New Leaf at least.

It's 110-200 trees, flowers have no limit for a perfect town status.

I have 81 trees and still have perfect town status. I had something like ~75 when I first got it too. I guess my wind turbine has something to do with it?

Some pwp's can positively affect or negatively affect the perfect town status. Perfect town usually always requires the environmentally friendly pwp's.

So things like the illuminated heart, or trash can (idk how) can negatively affect the towns status, as well as others.

I think usually mixing them and having more good ones than "bad ones" will still get a good balance so that it can keep perfect town status
