Citizen Satisfaction went down over night?

Around a week or two ago my citizen satisfaction rating said
?Hyrule has been starting to gain some attention as a popular sightseeing destination!?

Then one day it changed over night to

?I think it?s riding the so-so rails! So average!?
I can?t get it to go up any higher. I have planted many trees and flowers. And done a few PWP?s Sence then.
And I swear I don?t have any items dropped on the ground. So I have no idea why it has gone down.

I am not 100% positive, but I kinda remember reading someone's post in the past describing that too many trees will decrease the citizen satisfaction.

Try chop down 1 or 2, and see if that improves the citizen satisfaction.

I don’t think I have over 200 trees. I might have 110 but I will try chopping a few to see.

I know I mention it a lot but Liquefy has detailed sections on citizen satisfaction & PTS (sections 63 & 64 of his walkthru faq)

He suggests having between 110 and 200 trees in town. Palm trees, bamboo & perfect fruit trees that have lost their leaves count but shrubs do not. And have at least 76 flowers.
Public work projects - some increase citizen satisfaction/help PTS but a lot don't, plus you need a balance between those that increase abundant living and those that increase abundant nature (ie PWP from each list).

Incoming or outgoing villagers can affect rating as well? Not sure why?

Try building at least 10 Public Works - well that is the general cocensus - but you can do it with less/more and can have maybe a 'negative' PWP in town and still get PTS.

Ok. I cut down 3 trees last night, and checked back just now. I think it went up to
“Goodness gracious! I can say that, even from an academic standpoint, this town is simply the best! Hoo!”

OMG I JUST BECAME PERFECT! Thanks everyone for the help!
