Chow is Moving...

Recently, I haven't played ACNL for a while. Most of the day I go to school, then later on I sometimes have homework. When I get home from school I'm pretty tuckered out, so I mainly eat, sleep, or just use the Internet on my iPad and play on it. Then...yesterday, I talked to a villager and they said that Chow was moving. I panicked, since Chow was my dreamie. After that I looked everywhere around town for Chow, but when I found him he didn't ping me. So I just talked to him and hung around him a bit, went to some places, and back to see him again. No ping. I kinda got frustrated, so I just time traveled to a day later to make Chow ping me, but he didn't even ping once. Then...today, after I got home from school, I got on ACNL and Isabelle informed me that he was moving...

I feel sorry for you I like him but if they don't ping you and someone has says they are moving you could have saved your game and went back on and he will ping you

Yep, I lost Derwin because he never pinged me. I went on every single day, didn't hear a word from him, and then BAM! I log on one day and Isabelle says he's moving. It really stinks.

Hopefully you can get Chow back one day!

Well, I did try that and pressed "save and continue", but he still didn't ping me. But if you meant that I should have done the "save and quit" selection then I didn't do that I'll try that someday though, thanks

You have to pick save and quit (or save, then quit your game) for it to work, not just save and continue.
