Choices you regret?

I regret giving up on my cycle and never getting Flurry from it. :c
I got Lolly instead, and she's a sweetie but I really miss Flurry.

They were both in my previous town and I don't really know who to get rid of from my town in order to get Flurry :c

The more and more I play, the more I don't like my town's layout. I wish I could move some of the permanent PWP's around just to create something else. There are some villagers whose house placements I'm tired of, but I don't want to try to TT to get them to move since doing that in my old town is the reason I reset.

I also don't want to ask anyone to hold my stuff since I don't feel like rebuilding a town again. I think what I'll do is find a place for a new character so that I can get more paths. Problem is, there's no good place to put their houssseee x____x

I regret not using a guide at the beginning of the game because my eyes are ugly. It's waaay too late for me to restart now. I also regret not checking my villagers enough when Pate wanted to move since she's gone now. When I finally let Lolly move, I know I'll regret that too. (Not sure how long it will take before I let anyone move.)

Telling Lolly she should move in, tbh. I don't hate her, but the Normal personality drives me up a wall, and to have two normals bothers me. I like Daisy, and she's really enough for me.

I was but a new baby Mayor. I did not know.

Also, not making an alt villager / mule earlier. Sweet gawd, I love her to bits just for existing. Which is odd. Because I play both of them.

...brb, identity crisis.

I regret my Cafe placement. It's in a horrible spot. It's right in front of a pond and waaaaay too close to the town plaza.

I do kind of regret letting go of Flurry for Marina, who I ended up not really liking anyways. I did move Marina out for Tipper though, who I do really like. I just really miss that adorable little powderpuff ball ;_;

I never knew about plot resetting and my town map is horrible. Everyone likes to put their house on the very edge of town next to the river so their houses are all 3 steps away from each other. Also my house placement.. and voiding Lolly..

I regret not spending more time trying to get better placement of my villagers houses. Should have done more PWP, so they could end up living closer to each others. :(

Also, bit better map. I got 3 ponds and beach is seperated.. Should have research more about it! I wish I knew about this forum earlier! Hahaha!

After about two months of playing, I only have one real regret. I'm satisfied with my town layout apart from one thing. There is this small area in which the river makes a small u, and one of my original villager's houses is in that land. There was a bridge on one side, but when I tried to build a bridge on the other I couldn't because of that house.

Now, somebody else could go searching for guides on time travelling to try and get rid of that villager but I can't. The villager who lives there is Merry. Merry is one of my top three favourite villagers. She is NOT EVER LEAVING .

So I'm stuck with a difficult river bisecting the land and only two bridges. I'm not building a third, there is no point. The only place a third would be useful is too close to Merry's house. And there is always the chance she might move out without telling me in time to stop her, like frigging Chow did, heartbreaking as it would be...

I regret letting my friend place a second house all willy nilly in my town, I wish it was like... one or two spaces back lol sigh
and I've upgraded it way too much and spent way too long on it to tear it down and rebuild it :(

everythinggg my town map is horrible so many rocks in bad places cuz I didn't know you could pick lay outs I chose the first one sigh and I didn't choose good pwp places I've been demolishing them slowly

Now that I've known more about making more or less further choices like town map, villagers, and so on, my map town is still upsetting me and I think that I regret my selection. I'm building my town little by little but I'm not "inspired" at all by my map's structure, it's a little frustrating, though it's not that bad. I'm just not happy with it, but I don't want to ruin what has been done so far either.so. Regrets left.

i hate my actual town. acnl is my first animal crossing game ever so when i booted it up i had no idea how anything worked. i was too excited to do the kind of research i usually do (i usually google for a beginner's guide before starting any game) so i just jumped right into it. i wound up with an awful town layout; re-tail is in the very northmost point on my map, and my beach is waaaaaaaaaaaaay in the south - island trips are a HUGE pain. my native fruit is pear, which is my least favourite of the starter fruits. my house is in a terrible location; i put it where it is because i wanted a backyard full of cedar trees, but after playing a bit realised my house is JUST BARELY slightly too far south for them to grow there.

i ended up chopping down all of my native pear trees and replanting cherry ones in their place and pretending that our town fruit is the cherry >_> i put 2 pear trees in front of town hall as kind of a tribute and have a perfect pear grove but otherwise it's all cherries.

that said, i refuse to reset because i have so many villagers i adore. i started with stitches!

i also really regret not being more diligent plot resetting for a normal villager. i hadn't ever reset for villagers before, but after o'hare moved out i was pretty sure a normal villager was going to move in since i had none. i booted up a new save file twice a few days after and no one had set a plot down so i figured it was safe and loaded my mayor... aaaaand there was ava. who i don't hate, but there are so many other normal villagers that i LOVE and really wanted, so i was really disappointed. :T

i really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really regret choosing my town layout.

Camp site is in the south which my dumb self didn't know the pine tree looking ones don't grow there,so i got inspirations from other towns but this is a little ledge nothing can grow near it ;_;.

My house way too close to retail.

Town layout and my character's face and name. Although when I got my town and stuff I didn't know there were different faces or that layouts mattered much. And I named my character after myself since I was too lazy to think of a name.
I do that anyway, makes me feel more immersed, like it's really MY town you know?

I regret not plot resetting correctly for Molly. She ended up in a rubbish spot right near my campsite. It proved a challenge but I worked around it!

When I started to breed hybrids. I actually cut down all of my trees because I ran out of room.
