Chip item reset

I got a random item from Chip. So I reset and got a random item again.

If you get a random item and reset, does it keep giving random items or does it eventually become a fish item?

I don't think so! Because the requirement for getting a item from the fish set is different than the random items. The fish you give needs to be bigger than average I think, something like that!

Pretty sure that for items from the fish series, you'll need to (1) hand in a bigger than average fish and (2) beat the current record. So resetting won't help!

It'll keep giving you random items. The size of the fish that you catch decides it, that can't be soft resetted for/regenerated easily.

I can get different fish items after resetting. But only if I got fish item before resetting.

Like the others have said, you need to give Chip a bigger than average fish and he'll give you the Fish set items.
