I wasn't really expecting Chief to leave, but this is what happens when I don't play every single day.
His house and clothes are unoriginal, but I don't think they're trashed in the sense of having 7 fish in his house, etc.

I really don't want to drop down to 8, so here are the villagers I'd swap him for.

What I would probably need to do at this point is let someone take Chief, plot reset for Whitney, then pickup any trade I get for Chief.
