Chief vs Fang & Rudy Hype?

I currently have Chief in my town and he's cool, nice brown wolf with a cranky personality and my other villagers are intimidated by him. However both Cheif and Fang are cranky wolf's and I think Fang is a little cuter (those big eyes <3).

So if both wolf's are Cranky, what makes someone chose one over the other? Is there different dialogue between the two or is it appearance based (which will make my decision so much harder!)

Also Rudy... I see a lot of people with him as there dreamie and I'm curious why so many people like him? He's a Jock which is my least favourite personality and I know other people will enjoy the Jock personalities so that's just my personal preference... His appearance doesn't seem as cute as other cats though. Is it harder to get Jock cats or something or does he have amazing dialogue I'm missing out on? Hehe

i dont think its the personality or dialogues players are concerned with. looks are more important

Just personal preference. I'd say Rudy is popular because he's like Rudolph.

Hmmm think I'm going to switch Chief out for Fang, Fang is really cute and I looked up some of his dialogue and it's pretty funny! I have a feeling my brother will enjoy Rudy so I'll put him in his town that I'm working on now, it will give me an excuse to put Poppy in his town also since they share similar characteristics and look good together in the villager preview <3

i love all the wolves but i chose chief because there are no fox villagers so chief with his lovely colour scheme is the next best thing.

I think it's because Rudy is a reindeer cat and people are charmed by that. And while I prefer Chief, Fang is a pretty handsome wolf as well

I agree with you on the Chief vs. Fang bit; Fang is a whole lot cuter than Chief.

As for Rudy...

I personally like having one of each type of villager in my town if possible. It's adds to the variety I guess. Jocks are not really at the top of my list, so I have to really like the way they look (be it cute or funny). Rudy is definitely one of the cuter ones.
