I have Cherish ball's on my heartgold game, If I catch, let's say, a geodude with one, will PokeBank let it through?

I don't think it will, I think it will only let an event legendary caught in a Cherish Ball go through.

Cherish ball can never be obtained legitimately as an item, it purely exists in game coding and is not obtainable, so I'd hazard a guess that pokebank won't let it through.

You can only get it on event pokemon it seems.

The only way to get a Cherish Ball on a Pokemon in Gen 6 that's not an event would be changing the Pokemon's ball via cheating devices.

Shamefully Bank wouldn't let your Pokemon through.

I have a Dewgong caught in a Cherish Ball and Pokebank let it through.

The Dewgong was caught in Heartgold, transferred into Pokebank, transferred into ORAS.

i don't use cheats
if nintendo finds out u use them then they lock ur account and they'll delete all ur pokemons

A friend hacked a level 70 shiny Azurill caught in Pinwheel Forest or something like that and gave it to me, Pokebank said it was fine and let it through.
Then I have an legit Arceus with Pokerus, and the bank says NOPE, NO HAXING!!!

well, people are always going to find a way to hack games
when we make new things to stop them, they make new things to counter them...a never ending feud
