I wonder if we?ll have things like regular chat or best friend chat. Those were a staple of the online feature of AC, so it seems likely. Although, in the trailer, we didn?t see any sort of communication, nor a best friend like app on the Nook Phone. So what do we think? Also, the graphics look on point with Breath Of The Wild. Finally, thanks to Lavamaize for the island name Delta.

I really hope that they're only not showing us the communication feature because it's so special and they want it to be revealed later. My hopes is that you could use the Switch screen as the keyboard and type a little faster so your messages get completed and sent fast enough, or if they add a feature where you could hook up a keyboard to the Switch and type that way (unlikely). I'm hoping for some serious communication improvements, even an addition of voice!

I'm not sure how they will do it. Some other people have said something about using an app on your phone (don't remember what it was called), but I'm really shy, so I'm hoping the chat screen where you type something in it will be there in the game. Of course though, the phone app we might use might be a little bit easier and I guess if I have to use it to chat with others, then that's fine too.
I'm not a fan of voice chat so I really hope we can text chat instead if we so choose. Though it might be a bit inconveniant to bring up the keyboard on the screen every time you want to say something. The 3DS was really perfect for that with its two screens.
I am so glad you like the name Delta! As soon as I saw it I thought it fit perfectly. I think they will have a chat feature in NH. I hope they make it so you can gift items to friend via letter with multiple items. I also hope they add a few eating feature and a friend list inside of ACNH!

Those would be great, though I hope it would be better implemented especially seeing that you'll be able to have so many people at once. Nice island name by the way
I'm also not a fan of voice chat and prefer more the text chat. As for the keyboard, I could imagine that
they gonna use the Nook Phone for writing messages to others and maybe every time when you want to
say something, the phone's keyboard shows up at the corner of the screen (like a small window) and there
you can type what you want to say. Sure, it's still not the same as having the 3DS with it's two screens,
but at least it would be better to have such a small keyboard then having a huge one showing up and
blocking the whole screen and the view of what's going on the game.

I'd like to be able to send letters to friends like you used to be able to do in City Folk. I think there will just be a "texting" feature for offline communication, and either app voice or in-game voice with optional keyboard chat when playing together.
And so come the misunderstandings.
How so? this would be a function if people are slow on the keyboard, but don't really want to "talk" to others with voice chat (the mic wouldn't broadcast your voice if you mute it, and phones/tablets have this function, so it wouldn't be a big deal.)
